LLME is thrilled to announce the return of Bryan Martinez to the firm as director of tax administration.

Bryan, a CPA with more than 15 years of experience, originally joined LLME as a tax manager in 2015 and was later promoted to senior tax manager in 2020. He was responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality client service and providing tailored tax minimization strategies. He was also instrumental in incorporating new technologies into the firm, including the introduction of Microsoft Teams in early 2020, which significantly enhanced internal communication and collaboration.

Before rejoining LLME, Bryan took time off to focus on his family, serving as the primary caregiver for his daughter during her early years.

“LLME has always felt like a second family to me,” said Bryan. “The bonds I formed here, both professionally and personally, are what ultimately drew me back. I’m excited to contribute to the firm’s future and help navigate the challenges that lie ahead.”

In his new role as director of tax administration, Bryan will oversee the tax department, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation. He will focus on relieving administrative burdens from partners and managers, overseeing staff training and exploring innovative approaches to enhance client service and improve work-life balance for employees.

Outside of work, Bryan is passionate about giving back to the community. He previously volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with Voices for Children, where he advocated for the best interests of foster youth in San Diego County. Although he paused his volunteer work to focus on his family, Bryan remains actively involved in LLME’s charitable services committee, participating in events such as Relay for Life and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House.

Bryan earned his bachelor’s degrees in business economics, with an accounting emphasis, and political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also holds a Master’s in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
