We offer tax internship opportunities for students who are pursuing a BS or MS in Accounting or Taxation. Our spring internship begins February 1st and ends April 15th and our summer internship begins June 15th and ends August 15th. We provide flexible work schedules to accommodate class schedules and other school obligations. As an intern, you will complete a training course and have the opportunity to prepare individual and business tax returns. Your internship will provide you with relevant industry knowledge, the ability to interact and learn from managers and partners, and the experience to help you prepare for important career decisions.

We offer tax internship opportunities for students who are pursuing a BS or MS in Accounting or Taxation. The internships begin February 1st and end April 15th. We provide flexible work schedules to accommodate class schedules and required school engagements. Interns can expect to work anywhere from 20 to 40 hours per week.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to prepare individual, partnership, corporation, and trust tax returns. You will complete a basic training course at the beginning of your internship to provide you with information on our workpaper process and tax preparation software. Your internship will provide you with relevant industry knowledge and experience to help you prepare for important career decisions.
Hourly rate for interns range from $25/hr to $27/hr
We are seeking entry-level tax professionals. No prior experience is necessary.
Job description:
- Preparation of Individual, Partnership, Corporate and Trust tax returns
- Preparation of federal and state quarterly estimated tax payments
- Assist with tax audits and tax research projects
- Take ownership of tasks and work with others to prioritize work assignments
- Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
- Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties
- Produce work that is clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting (or near completion)
- CPA Exam eligible at graduation or shortly afterwards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail and goal-oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Willingness and desire to learn
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
