LLME is pleased to announce that Erin Carlson was elevated to tax partner effective Jan. 1, 2024.
As the head of the firm’s trust and estate group, Erin guides high-net-worth individuals through both life and posthumous planning. She assists individuals, families and business entities, particularly those with substantial real estate assets, in navigating the complexities of trusts, estate planning and taxation. Additionally, Erin mentors rising tax and accounting professionals and is a collaborative leader on firmwide initiatives spanning education, recruitment and wellness.
Erin seamlessly integrates her legal and finance backgrounds to better serve LLME’s clients and contribute to the education of both the legal and financial industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, as well as a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
Although not a CPA, her legal credentials, including admittance to the State Bar of California, and experience qualify her to provide services to the firm’s clients and represent them in front of the IRS.
